Last month, we spent a whole week in Stockholm, Sweden. We went there with the Comenius project. Each of us had our own partner, with whom we lived that week. After some weeks waiting for the day to go to Sweden, it arrived. When we finally got in Stockholm we were all so nervous that we couldn’t stop thinking about how our exchange there would be. Luckily, all went perfectly and everybody was good and comfortable with his/her partner. After all the day travelling we were all so tired that we stayed at home watching a film and we finally went to sleep, what we were hoping for.
The first day we met at the school all together with other exchange students from Stockholm and Germany. At first, we did some activities to know each other and later we made a type of activity that the school had already prepared for us. We started to do an ABBA video. We worked with groups of four people, we chose the song and then we thought ideas. We had lunch at school and in the afternoon we went to the center of Stockholm.
The second day we continued doing the ABBA video at the school, we went out to record the video in different places of Stockholm. When we finished filming we started to edit what we had filmed. Finally we got the videos! Amazingly, we all got on so good. During the evening we returned to the center of Stockholm, and after that we met at the school, there we had dinner with all the families of the students exchange, every family brought a different dish so we could taste a lot of food, there we saw the ABBA videos that we had done.
The third morning we went with the other exchange students at the ABBA Museum in Stockholm. We spent all the morning there and later we went to lunch at McDonalds. After this activity we had all the afternoon for us, so we went to the city center and all of us bought some souvenirs and we had a look at the shopping centre of the city. It was so big and unfortunately we couldn’t see it all. However, we finished at night and we went to our partner’s home . Without realizing the days passed and it was time to go back home.The next day was the day we left, so we had to wake up early and pack our suitcase. We said goodbye to everyone and we came back with a lot of experiences in our pockets such as living in an immense and beautiful city, taking the subway every day but the best one was knowing unforgettable people, who helped us to see that no matter in what part of the world you are Sweden, Germany, Catalonia...the world is full of wonderful people that give to us thousand of smiles to remember.
