On Tuesday 29th of January the students of 3rd of ESO went to the Auditori Barradas in Hospitalet to see a theatre play in English called Dracula. We went from the school to the theatre by metro, it was a long trip but we didn't get bored. I got distracted by my friends and we had fun. When we arrived, we had breakfast at Rambla Just Oliveras just before the play started.

The play was based on a vampire obsessed with his rock playlist who wanted to buy a new house so, a state agent went to his castle in Transylvania to get him aware of the sales. The vampire saw the girlfriend of the agent and he fell in love with her, so he locked the agent inside the castle and decided to set him a trap by writing a letter to his girlfriend saying that he was totally fine. The vampire went to London, where the girl was, they fell in love and he transformed her into a vampire. Her boyfriend found a way to escape the castle, met a doctor specialized on bats who was kind of crazy and they made a trip to Transylvania. They couldn’t do anything but fall into Dracula’s charm and they were all transformed into vampires.

At the end of the play, we could ask questions to the actors and actresses about their lives or about the play and we found out three of them were from London and the woman that played the crazy doctor role was Irish. In my opinion, the play wasn’t that good, it was planned to be funny, but it wasn’t. I was a little bit disappointed, I expected more. The songs weren’t that good, but the stage props were very well made.

Once the play ended and we were outside, we saw the actors and actresses leaving the theatre and we were able to take a picture with them before heading to the metro and going back to school.

In conclusion, the play could have been better, but the trip was cool and we had fun, it was a day out of the ordinary at RB4!
