Students' Guideline

We have all learnt to write texts in English over the last years : describing things and people,  giving instructions, writing letters.... This year we are going to enjoy and improve our productions practicing with two types of texts:  

Descriptions and instructions:

Let's start creating a mascot for our class! A mascot to represent us as a group-class and why not, in the future and throughout the course, the starting point of other creative activities such as being the main character of an online story or a comic....  You will draw and describe your idea and you will choose the one you like the most! 

The second project will also asks for your creativity.  Do you like cooking?  We would like you to make a recipe in English, it should be a recipe from any country around the world and so be able to make a game to guess its origin.
But we won't stop here if you want! Do you like cooking programmes? Then we will become professionals on TV! .
In groups we will become screenwriters, cameras, presenters and editors!  Finally we will be spectators and we will guess where the recipe originally came from. 
Don’t you want to put on an apron?  Now it's time to be creative!

We are going to review a lot of things we learnt in the past and improve them:

• Vocabulary ( adjectives, food, tools actions,...)
• Third person, imperatives
• Comparatives and superlatives

And learn about:

• Countables / uncountable
• Any / some
• How much / How many?
• Expressions of quantity

• Previous activities: to review what you learnt and prepare new topics,
• Resorces: Grammar content
• Activities: to practice
• Project; Step by step how to do your work.
