The Austrian cybernetic Heinz von Foerster expresses the fenomenon like this: “out there there is no light nor no colour, only electromagnetic waves; out there, there is neither sound nor music, only periodic air pressure waves; out there, there is neither warmth nor cold, only molecules moving with greater or lesser average kinetic energy, etc. And, of course, out there, there is no pain.”
